Good value for clean room and comfy bed, but Wi-Fi was spotty.

Microtel in Fountain proved to have its ups and downs during my visit. The staff, especially a gem named Roberta, made check-in really pleasant. I walked in feeling exhausted, and she greeted me warmly, even offering water. The room itself was clean but definitely on the small side. It had a cozy atmosphere, although cramped with two beds that left no room for our suitcases. The breakfast selection was limited, heavily leaning towards hard-boiled eggs without much variety for special diets. Noise from neighboring rooms was another downside. I could hear normal conversations clear as day, which disrupted my sleep. While the atmosphere was nice, I hope they can improve the variety of breakfast options to cater to all guests better. Good for a quick visit, but might not be ideal for longer stays.

The Microtel in Fountain is a clean, comfy spot for a quick stay! After long days of culinary exploration, we feasted on the local Mexican dishes that were to die for—think sizzling carne asada tacos bursting with flavor. Plus, the bed? Like sleeping on a cloud! Just the place to recharge after a day of food adventures.
But oh boy, the service left a lot to be desired. The front desk lady, Roberta, was a nightmare—condescending and unhelpful, making the check-in process frustrating. Our dog-friendly room wasn't clean, smelling like an ashtray and worse, which is a big no-no for a pet stay.

8/10
Room was more spacious than my mama's kitchen, and I slept like a baby on that comfy bed! The staff treated us real nice, bless their hearts. Just wish a few more cereal options were on that breakfast bar, but the coffee was top notch!

The good outweighs the bad (barely)
The staff were friendly and welcoming! Breakfast was light, just right for a quick start.
Rooms had noise issues from neighbors. thin walls made for a less than restful night.

The hotel offers a dog-friendly atmosphere, making it ideal for traveling pet owners.
I experienced a dreadful check-in process, primarily due to Roberta at the front desk, whose attitude was unprofessional and incredibly condescending. She struggled with running my card and had no sense of urgency, which led to my husband having to come to resolve the issue.

The staff here genuinely care, especially Roberta, who made check-in easy. Rooms are cozy, featuring modern furnishings like a kitchenette, microwave, and comfortable bedding. However, the management should ensure rooms are clean, as my initial room had issues that needed addressing.

The room was clean and comfortable, with a pleasantly surprising level of coziness for a budget option. Staff were particularly friendly, accommodating an early check-in. Breakfast included some organic fruits, enhancing the meal experience, although the options were somewhat limited. For a brief stopover, it served the purpose well, nestled conveniently near the interstate, ensuring easy access after a day of exploring.
